This is our ship's reunion web site. Shipmates have been meeting for reunions since about 1990 in locations where shipmates have been willing to host the programs and negotiate with lodging facilities, etc. There are about 90 shipmates in our roster. Only about 20 are active, but we have been able to correspond with a number of others who are interested. Our next reunion is September 22-25, 2011, in Elizabethtown, KY.
The reunion will be held at Baymont Inn and Suites, 209 Commerce Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701 Tel: (270)769-9616. The room rate is $69.00 + $7.14 tax making it $76.16 per night. These room rates will be good for stays up to one week prior to the reunion and for one week following the reunion. Reservations must be made by September 8th . When making the reservations, please identify yourself as belonging to the USS FAIRVIEW reunion group.
